Minimum 3 total cleaner-hours per visit, starting from £81. One cleaner for 3 hours or two cleaners for 1.5 hours each use the same minimum. The minimum applies once per visit. The task list, duration, supplies, access and final price are confirmed in a written quotation before booking. A shorter recurring cleaning or maintenance visit may be agreed for a suitable local contract after an administrator reviews the scope and records the exception in the written quotation. It is not an automatic discount. Existing agreed contracts stay unchanged.

Looking for something more specific?

Planning your service

Plan your communal area cleaning service

Communal cleaning covers the shared parts of a building used by residents and visitors. An agreed specification makes clear which areas are cleaned, how often and which tasks need a separate quotation.

A checklist for your block

Identify entrances, hallways, stairs and landings, then list the surfaces and tasks for each area. Floor cleaning, handrails, accessible internal glass and agreed touchpoints can form part of the specification. Confirm bin-store cleaning separately, along with any access restrictions or resident-notice requirements.

Choose a realistic cleaning frequency

Footfall, the number of shared areas, floor finishes and the current condition help determine the schedule. We can discuss weekly, fortnightly or monthly visits and an initial deep clean where needed. The first visit may take longer than routine upkeep; timings and access are agreed for your building.

How communal cleaning is priced

Send the postcode, number of floors and entrances, photographs, desired frequency and existing cleaning specification if available. These details help establish labour and equipment needs. We confirm the included areas, initial clean, optional tasks and visit schedule in a written quotation rather than assuming every block needs the same service.

Coordinate cleaning with property upkeep

Give us a named contact and key, fob or concierge arrangements. Tell us what completion records or reporting you need so these can be agreed in advance. Repairs, grounds maintenance and waste clearance should have their own defined scope; they are not automatically included in a communal cleaning visit.

Before the visit

Frequently asked questions

Short answers to what clients usually ask us before booking this service.

What is included in communal area cleaning?

The agreed specification can cover entrances, hallways, stairs, landings, floors, handrails and accessible internal glass. Bin stores, deep cleaning and other tasks are included only when listed in your written quotation.

How much does communal block cleaning cost?

The quotation depends on the number of floors and entrances, surfaces, condition, access and visit frequency. Send photographs and any existing cleaning checklist so we can confirm the initial clean, ongoing visits and optional tasks separately.

Do you clean outside office hours?

Tell us the permitted working hours and any resident-notice requirements. We check availability and agree the visit time before booking, including any request to work outside normal hours.

Do you bring your own materials and equipment?

Yes, unless your site requires specific products. We can also work with materials you supply.

Can we start with a one-off clean before a contract?

Yes. Many clients begin with an initial clean and then agree a weekly, fortnightly or monthly schedule.

How do I get a price?

Use the instant estimate for an indicative figure, or request a confirmed written quotation — we normally reply within one working day.

Are you insured and checked?

Yes. We are fully insured, enhanced DBS checked, a registered waste carrier and COSHH and manual handling trained.
