Included in the agreed scope
Supply and fitting of smoke and carbon monoxide alarms to meet a landlord's duty: positioning advice per storey and per room with a fuel-burning appliance, fitting, testing and a written record of what was installed and where. Pre-conditions: access to every room and storey, and confirmation of the alarm type required.
Not included
Mains-wired interlinked systems and any notifiable electrical work, which are carried out by a registered electrician. Fire alarm panels and commercial fire detection systems, sprinklers and emergency lighting. Battery replacement visits and remedial building work.

- Priced per property for the agreed number of alarms. Alarm counts, storeys and appliance locations confirmed by quotation.

- Work found outside the agreed scope is stopped and reported first. It is re-quoted in writing and only carried out once you approve it. Nothing extra is charged automatically.
- Materials
- Alarms, fixings and batteries supplied and itemised on the quotation unless the customer supplies them.
- Availability
- Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Saturday visits by arrangement. Evening, weekend and urgent slots are confirmed when we quote, not guaranteed. Fitted alongside an inspection or maintenance visit where convenient.
- Delivered by
- Coordinated for you and carried out by an appropriately qualified and registered contractor. Sea Lighter manages the job, the access and the paperwork; the regulated work itself is signed off by the qualified engineer or electrician.
Starting prices are indicative and, where a minimum charge is shown, the minimum applies to a single job or visit. Your final quote depends on property size, condition, access and the agreed scope of work. Any additional charges will be included in your quote before you confirm.
