Included in the agreed scope
Electrical repairs and installations arranged for you: sockets, switches, light fittings, consumer-unit faults, testing and certification, all carried out by a competent-person-scheme registered electrician. Pre-conditions: access to the consumer unit, agreement to isolate supply where needed, and details of the existing installation.
Not included
Work Sea Lighter's own team is not qualified for is never carried out in-house. Excluded from the hourly rate: materials and accessories, EICR remedial works, rewires, supply upgrades and DNO works, fire alarm and emergency lighting system certification, and builder's work such as chasing, plastering and decorating.

- Priced per electrician hour on site. Scope, certification and duration confirmed by quotation.

- Additional charges
- Work found outside the agreed scope is stopped and reported first. It is re-quoted in writing and only carried out once you approve it. Nothing extra is charged automatically.
- Materials
- Accessories, cable and consumables quoted separately unless listed on the quotation.
- Availability
- Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Saturday visits by arrangement. Evening, weekend and urgent slots are confirmed when we quote, not guaranteed. Notifiable work is scheduled around certification and, where needed, building control notification.
- Delivered by
- Coordinated for you and carried out by an appropriately qualified and registered contractor. Sea Lighter manages the job, the access and the paperwork; the regulated work itself is signed off by the qualified engineer or electrician.
Starting prices are indicative and, where a minimum charge is shown, the minimum applies to a single job or visit. Your final quote depends on property size, condition, access and the agreed scope of work. Any additional charges will be included in your quote before you confirm.
